You Want You!

We are thrilled to announce that The Urban Grocer will soon be launching an online shop!

Since our early 2010 debut, readers have been asking where they could buy some of the fabulous finds we’ve covered. So we thought we’d give them the option of doing it right on our site. And, here’s where you come in- we’d love to include your goods on our virtual shelves!

Why should you be interested?

Placing your product on the shop is essentially free advertising to a targeted readership; The Urban Grocer is a growing site with a global audience of young, urban influencers all keen to purchase their favorite products and to browse around for similar goods you may offer.

How does it work?

We’re interested in “drop shipping” arrangements, as opposed to wholesale purchasing. This means that we’d advertise your product in the online shop and then forward orders to you as they come through so that you may ship the item directly to the (happy) consumer. There is no charge to feature on The Urban Grocer, although we will be implementing a commission on items-purchased.

Given that both the producers (you!) and our readers are oh-so-global, we are trying to keep things as simple as possible, while being flexible enough to accommodate your specific needs and limitations. We are ready to work with any restrictions that need to be addressed, such as a limited number of countries you can ship to, or different prices that need to be applied based on regions.

So what’s next?

If this is interesting to you, I invite you to contact us with any questions you may have. We’d also be happy to discuss any further details directly with you, either via email or on the phone.

We hope to hear from you soon!
